Axcil Jefferies is an elite professional athlete racing driver from Zimbabwe. Axcil is a four time national karting champion who was awarded one of three coveted Formula BMW scholarships.

He successfully competed in the Formula BMW Pacific Championship, where he was a regular race winner, Axcil obtained media and expert recognition through awards like “Driver’s Driver”, “Star Driver of the Future” and “Sportsman – of the Year”; before stepping up to the FIA Formula Two Championship in 2012. As well as receiving numerous accolades on track.

Currently Axcil is competing in the GP2 Series and Indy Lights Series. Additionaly Axcill has is a Global UN Aids Ambassador, Childline Goodwill Ambassador and the African FIA Action for Road Safety Ambassador.

Axcil’s aspiration in life is to make it all the way to Formula 1. It may be a dream but with his dedication, passion and commitment to reach his dream, it is certainly attainable. Not only is Axcil dedicated, he is also very marketable and comes across extremely well in all his dealings with the media and other relevent organisations.

David Brown

Hull Stingrays #1 Netminder

Stingrays netminder David Brown intends to take Rapid Solicitors Hull Stingrays to new heights during his two-year stay.

The 29-year-old Stoney Creek, Ontario native, an eighth-round draft pick by Pittsburgh Penguins in 2004, was the second new import to be signed by player-coach Omar Pacha this summer.

In his seven-year pro career, Brown featured 139 times in the CHL regular-season and play-offs, made 75 appearances in the ECHL and played 25 games in the American Hockey League as well as receiving numerous other call-ups.

Prior to turning pro, Brown attended the University of Notre Dame in the NCAA and enjoyed a stunning college career.

Protyre Formula Renault Driver

Alex made his car racing debut during the final two rounds of the main Protyre Formula Renault season at Silverstone last September – he went on to claim his first car racing podiums in the end of year Autumn Cup.

He won the 2012 British KF3 Karting title with the official Red Bull KF3 Junior team.

Alex is mentored by Infiniti Red Bull Racing’s Adrian Newey and Grand Prix promoter Martin Whittaker.

Alex was the first youngster invited to be part of the McLaren Applied Technologies Performance Academy
